Guitar, a stringed musical instrument, is believed to have originated in Spain early in the 16th century, deriving from the Guitarra Latina, a late-medieval instrument with four strings. Today, a guitar has well-defined headstock, neck, nut, fretboard or fingerboard, frets, truss rod, strings and inlays.
It enjoys a "hero" or "star" status in the modern musical world so to speak. Thanks to Rock and Roll and the likes of Willie Nelson, Bruce Springsteen. The fact that a Guitar is far more affordable than some of the other instruments also increases its appeal among the masses.
At Arcadia Performing Arts Academy, our proficient guitar teachers design the classes to meet the needs of individual students by taking into account their learning stage, style, abilities and goals. Even our shared classes accommodate a maximum of three pupils of similar abilities to ensure there is no compromise on lessons.
