A DJ, or disc jockey, is a person who hosts recorded music for an audience. Simple! But there are many different kinds of DJs, and many reasons for them to exist. At Arcadia, we have introduced a 'DJ' class that teaches students how to mix music and create their own music. The ability to control music to express yourself is an amazing skill and considered a modern art form by many. Just as with playing a musical instrument, DJs sometimes specialise in specific areas.
